Specialty medications can be expensive and aren’t always covered like typical prescriptions. We’re here to help navigate your insurance benefits and connect you to financial assistance when you need it.
Having a serious or chronic health condition doesn’t make you an expert on the paperwork, preapprovals or financial assistance programs your medications require. That’s why we work closely with our patients, their insurance and financial assistance programs to find solutions.
Pay pharmacy charges by phone, online or by mail. Directions for payment are available on your Michigan Medicine statement.
Your cost will be determined once your order is processed and billed to your insurer.
Charges, including your copay responsibility, will appear on your Michigan Medicine statement up to six weeks after final billing.
For payments online or by phone we accept all major credit cards, health savings accounts (HSA), flexible spending accounts (FSA) cards and electronic checks. We also accept money orders via payment by mail.
We know no one is prepared for the prices of some specialty medications, so we work hard to make affordable solutions available.
Our medication specialists find financial assistance and cost-reducing options for our patients, counseling them on the best strategy based on what they qualify for and even helping with the application process.
Foundations may cover some or all of the costs for patients that meet financial criteria. Co-pay prescription savings cards also help reduce out-of-pocket costs for patients who qualify.
We’re available Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm to help you with all your prescription financial needs.
