Starting May 2025, U-M Health Specialty Pharmacy will offer an easier way to manage prescriptions and payments via the MyUofMHealth Patient Portal.
Features of the Portal
- Prescription Management: Easily request refills and check medication statuses anytime without needing to call or visit the pharmacy.
- Payment Options: Save payment methods securely and pay copays with ease starting May 2025.
- Prescription Details: View pharmacy information and copays immediately.
- Access Anytime: Manage your health information and transactions 24/7.
Getting Ready
- Register Now: If you don't already have a patient portal, you are able to sign up and have access to your patient chart and many other functionalities. To register for the MyUofMHealth Patient Portal, you will need your Medical Record Number (MRN).
- Understanding the MRN: Your Medical Record Number or MRN is a 9-digit number that can be found on most of your Michigan Medicine paperwork or on your inpatient wristband. It is different from your billing account number and student ID. If you cannot locate your MRN, contact the HIE Support Team Help Desk at 734-615-0872 between 7:00 am – 7:00 pm, Monday through Friday, or 8:00 am – 1:00 pm on Saturday.
- Set Up Payments: Prepare your preferred payment methods for the launch in May 2025.
